January 2006
- Arrangements made to hold monthly association business meetings at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration (HoA) on a regular basis on the second Thursday of each month
- Board of Directors elects chairman and vice chairman/secretary
- FilAmEA website (www.FilAmEA.org) carried over from previous administration

February 2006
- Glenn Alapag, incoming President Galdones, outgoing President Prudencio met with Bryce Yokomizo

March 2006
- Incoming Executive Officers and Board of Directors inducted at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, CA. Bryce Yokomizo administers oath taking.
- First copy of the FilAmEA Quarterly Newsletter (FQN) distributed

June 2006
- Participated in the June 12, 2006 Philippine Independence Day celebrations sponsored by the Board of Supervisors and LACFAEA
- Participated in the June 24, 2006 DPSS Jog and Walk-A-Thon – Food Booth

July 2006
- Sponsored Turn-Around Trip to Harrah’s Casino (Fund Raiser) on July 14, 2006
- Second copy of the FilAmEA FQN distributed

September 2006
- Participated in the LACFAEA sponsored family picnic at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area
- Replacement BoD chairman elected

October 2006
- Board of Directors approved amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws as developed by Tony Roldan and his CBL committee
- Initial discussions on the registration of the association as a non-profit corporation
- Third copy of the FQN distributed

- Registration of the association as a non-profit corporation initiated
- Fourth copy of the FQN distributed

- Additional activity completed on the registration of the association as a non-profit corporation

- Association president Galdones is taken gravely ill

- Vice President: Tony Gan (Declined. Preferred to serve on the Board of Directors to which he was elected.)
- Secretary: Delily Abellera (Agreed to serve despite being promoted at DCFS.)
- Treasurer: Amelita Ibay
- Assistant Treasurer: Rufina Tolentino
- Auditor: Rodel Santos
- Public Relations Officer: Noel Martinez

- Beda Sasis

Approximately $2000.00 raised by Beda Sasis from his participation in the L.A. Marathon (Bicycle Event) were presented to the Galdones family by Beda Sasis and other FilAmEA members on March 29, 2008.

FilAmEA well represented at the 110th Anniversary of Philippine Independence Day celebrations at the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration.
