The meeting convened around 3:00 pm. 

Present: 
Amelita Ibay, Merce Prudencio, Noel Matinez, RenePrudencio, Rueben Basconcillo, Rufina Tolentino, Tony Gan.
I.  Welcome
The chairman welcomed everyone present.

An inquiry was made as to the status of Romy Galdones.  It was reported that his condition remained the same-non-responsive.

An inquiry was made as to whether the Galdones family had been invited to the event.  It was decided, after some discussion, to invite them. 
The chairman agreed to contact them*.

An inquiry was made as to which VIPs had responded to our invitation.  It was reported that the following had responded so far:
Philip Browning will dropin, Jake Aquilar will attend, Sheryl Spiller will not be able to attend due to prior commitments but asked that pictures be taken to be shared with Mr.Browning.  It was also reported that Michael Sylvester would not be able to attend.  The group decided to invite Bryce Yokomizo.
The chairmain will make the contact**.

Not given.  Secretary was not able to attend.

III.Treasurer's Report
Notgiven.

IV.  Status Reports from the Committees
A. Marketing
It was announced that Tony Aco, the chairman for this committee, had requested relief from this assignment due to personal matters.  The tickets he had in his possession had been turned over to Tony Gan.  An accounting of all the tickets "sold" or otherwise distributed to date was made.
Additional tickets were distributed to those who needed them.

Note:  Well under 100 tickets have been "sold" so far.  Since the capacity of the hall is 200, a concerted effort needs to be made by everyone, not just the contact persons listed on the flyer, to "sell" more tickets.

B.  Program/Entertainment
Noel Martinez developed a suggested program to be used by the MC.
See Below.

C.  Decoration
Noel Martinez reported that plans were well underway and assured the group that plans will be finalized and implemented by the deadline - Friday,August 24,  2007.  He reported that projected expenses will exceed the $150.00 approved by the association but that he will make up the difference.  He recommended, and the group accepted, that Hawaiian punch beserved.

D.  Food
Several changes were made to the original food assignments.
Notably: NoelMartinez, EdwinMonteagudo and RuebenBasconcillo will provide 18pounds of barbque chicken (12 Ibs.) and beef (6 Ibs.)
Tony Gan reported that Evelyn Tuazon could not attend due to prior commitments but agreed to donate Pancit Malabon

E.  Welcoming Committee
This committee will be responsible for greeting attendees, checking their ticket status against the official "marketing" listing, accepting their "donation" if unpaid and directing them to their tables.

The meeting adjourned around 5:15pm.
